Yndegården Tourist Hostel and Course Centre
In the little village of Ynde, 3 kms North-West of Sölvesborg centre, a tourist hostel
has existed since 1992. It is managed by the voluntary association “Yndegården”.
The hostel is contained in a distinguished farm building from the beginning of the 20th century,
renovated and extended 1989-1993.
There are two rooms with four beds, three rooms with three
beds, one room with two beds and one with five beds. Just beside the main building there are two
small châlets with each two beds. A modern kitchen is available to guests, as well as a
sitting room and a charming conservatory. There is a shower and toilet on each floor.
From 1995, as well as the hostel, there is a further house which serves both as a school
and as tourist hostel/course centre. Upstairs there are seven rooms with two beds and two rooms
with three beds for the guests. Here you will also find toilets, showers and a kitchenette as well
as a large sitting room. Downstairs there is another kitchen for selfservice as well as a dining
room of 60 sq.m. For courses and conferences there are grouprooms and a large hall of 100 sq.m.
